The Vimeo Livestream team recently launched new additions to our Studio product line, including Studio One, our new switcher and encoder, as well as long-awaited features to our Studio 5 software. During our webinar this week, we took your questions live and took a deep dive into these new additions.
Didn’t have a chance to make it to the webinar? We’re here to fill you in.
Meet the Studio One switcher and encoder
First and foremost, our hardware line now features a new switcher and encoder, Studio One. As reliable as it is compact — a mere 11 inches wide — the Studio One packs a powerful punch with its mighty processing power.
You can stream up to 4K resolution, too, from two 4K inputs or four HD inputs. Priced under $4,500, the Studio One provides powerful live production with a minimal footprint, without breaking the bank.
New features in Studio 5.2
We also dove into our new features with our Studio 5 software during the webinar, Vimeo Livestream’s live production switcher software. With Studio 5.2, you can now:
- Use a web page as a browser source in your live stream
- Add comments from Facebook or YouTube into Studio graphics
- Connect with remote IP cameras through RTSP and use as a source directly in Studio
- Preview media files while streaming in Web Control mode
- Control PTZOptics (pan-tilt-zoom) cameras via NDI or VISCA protocols

We’re thrilled to continue to bring you broadcast quality tools to help make your Livestream productions successful. Keep an eye out for more updates from us soon!
